InterVlan Routing Issue on 6500

Hi All,

This should be real simple, but for some reason it does not work. My 6500 is only allowing me to enable one VLAN interface at a time.

!

interface Vlan2165

ip address 10.201.BB.30 255.255.255.224

shutdown

!

interface Vlan3038

ip address 10.201.BB.138 255.255.255.224

!

interface Vlan3065

description CTX-ROUTER

ip address 10.201.BB.161 255.255.255.240

no ip redirects

ip flow ingress

shutdown

====================

As you can see only interface vlan 3038 is not shutdown. When I try to do the "no shut" command on the other interfaces, nothing happens and the interface still shows administratively down. Is there some special command I need to make sure is in place on the 6500 to make sure that I can have more than one VLAN interface enabled at once??

====================

6513(config)#do sh int vlan3065

Hi,

What IOS are you running?

IOS

Cisco IOS Software, s72033_rp Software (s72033_rp-ADVIPSERVICESK9_WAN-M), Version 12.2(33)SXI5, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc2)

FYI... It also has a Sup 720 as the sup module.

Thanks...
