RP/0/RP0/CPU0:Dec 27 20:10:45.211 CST: ntpd[336]: %IP-IP_NTP-5-HP_CONN_LOST : High priority NTP peer connection lost - Stratum 2->3.
RP/0/RP0/CPU0:Dec 27 20:19:30.266 CST: ntpd[336]: %IP-IP_NTP-5-HP_CONN_RECOVERED : High priority NTP peer connection recovered - Stratum 3->2.
I am periodically seeing NTP Synchronization lost followed by NTP peer connection lost. I am not able to find network issues during these bounces. Are these considered expected behavior or can someone explain why and when to expect to see these bounces.

- Probably related to bug(s) , this bug report is an example (only) : https://bst.cloudapps.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCsz22456 , you don't mention the platform/model this is happening on ,however use latest advisory software version (if applicable) and check if that can help ,

still issue you need to provide more information what hardware and version of code ? where is NTP IP located you try to sync, is there any FW between ?
