Hi,

I having a difficult on setting up a ip sla for bgp and internet link. My wan link is a primary link to connect to remote office as BGP router mode. Internet link as secondary link to connect remote office as vpn tunnel.

When the BGP WAN link is down, I don't have any ip sla and track the link is down and automatically point to secondary link for connection.

Do anyone know how is the configuration look like to configure the ip sla in bgp link and internet link?

Thank you.

IP SLA is required only when the routing protocol doesn't have the feature to track the link status, such as static route. BGP is having keep alives to track the link by default, so there is no need of IP SLA. If BGP table is having 2 routes towards a destination. Traffic will be diverted automatically when the primary link is down.
