I think that my rommon image has become corrupt as it will not take a new IOS image.
I have tried several images that are within the recommended size and work with another 2620 with exactly the same specification
also some commands that are available in help are not recognised when typed

Hi,
Please let me know which IOS version have you tried. It seems you have only 32Mb of DRAM.
As for the ROMMON - there is no upgrade to that, it seems. Evene if you go search CCO, there are only PDLM and IOS packages.
Kind Regards,
Ivan

Hi Kaval,
Which IOS image are you trying to use? Could you share the console outputs from the boot sequence - when you try to boot with new image?
Kind Regards,
Ivan

I have 3 other 2620's and they all take the image first time

Actually, it sorted its self out.
I have just loaded the same image from yesterday that I tried over and over and it took it fine this time...
the ROMMON seems to run quicker and didnt complain about commands I knew to be correct
strange...
thanks anyway Ivan
