If you are trying to get the connection of t/s as I suspect the config. would be:
controller e1 3/0
channel group 15 timeslot 15
then the inetface command to reference the channel group number as above
interface serial 3/0:15
ip address x.x.x.x
encapsulation ppp

Hello Suresh,
after configuring a channel group 0
your serial becomes
ser3/0:0
ip address x.x.x.x
encapsulation ppp
this is because you are using it as a data link not an ISDN PRI so no channel D on 15.
Hope to help

Dear Team,
We used NM-2CE1B in cisco 3745 router, on first port is running with PRI circuit and i would like to configure the second port to 2Mbps MPLS link. whether this card will support for my requirement.
Note: ISP is given ethernet output which is terminated on patch box pannel. From there we using a cable RJ 45 to serial cable.
current config:-
#controller E1 3/0
#channel group 0 timeslot 0-30
.............xxxxxxxxxxxx.....
#interface serial 3/0:0
#ip add x.x.x.x
#encapsulation ppp
the link is not coming up. Link is working fine when we connected with another serial port with converter (E1-V.35)
