I have 2 switches, one is a Cisco 3750 and the other is a Cisco 2950.
I can ping the interface from each switch on each PC, and vice versa, but I cannot ping across the trunk port from PC to the other VLAN. I am definetly a noob at this so any one that can spread some clear instructions on how to do this would be greatly appreciated.

By chance are you using the 2950 as the default gateway on the PC that's on VLAN 24? I believe those are layer 2. That's why you ping across. The 3750 is layer 3 so you'll need to configure vlan 24 on it and use it as your gateway on that VLAN.

Is there a trunk between the 3750 and 2960? If so, there should be a trunk between the 2960 and 3750. Also if you are trying to ping devices from the 2960 to the 3750 or visa versa then the switches need to be in the same subnet which they are not.
