Hello Everyone,
Between the 3850 and ASR we have some vlans configured, all with OSPF enabled.
There is a main/prefer vlan that goes through another set of routers, one of those routers went down and OSPF also went down. This affected OSPF between the 3850 and ASR and all vlans went down or lost communication.
OSPF is configured with router id since in the IOS is require and even though I have loopbacks they didn't work to keep the session up.
How can I fix or improve this?
Thanks,
Juan

Hi Juan,
Please correct me if I understanding wrong, but you want to establish OSPF adjacency using loopbacks?

Hi Julio,
Not really but now that you mentioned it could be a solution, using the loopbacks.

Hi
The OSPF adjacency cannot be make using loopbacks, like in BGP.
Do you have a topology how the vlans are being implemented or passing through.
