Problem configuring VWIC2-1MFT-T1/E1 on 2921 Router

Greetings all.  I'm new to the CISCO community and need help with configuring a VWIC2-1MFT-T1/E1 card on a 2921 router in my lab.  I've followed the configuration steps for the card, but when I run the sh controller command, it shows 'down'.  My configuration steps are shown below.  Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

have you connected the T1 port to service provider or if in lab, a simulated environment? You need the physical connection with proper configs to bring up the T1.

Thank you for your response.  Yes, I did have a T1 connected.  My problem was that I needed a cross-over cable between our lab's T1 cable and the router.
