We recently had an issue with QoS. We imported a config from a 48 port fastethernet switch to a 48 port gigabitethernet switch. After removing the QoS and making other adjustments to the config such as fastethernet to gigabitethernet, we noticed that the QoS statements had reappeared. We are sure that we saved the running config to the startup config so are wondering why the QoS statements reappeared.
We used Cisco Network Assistant to make some adjustments along with CLI. Does the Cisco Network Assistant automatically put back QoS? Is there a default QoS?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you specify the model?
Are the ports configured for IP telephony? Enabling auto QoS on interface configures global MLS QoS standard values.

They were 2 stacked 3750 G Series switches with 48 Gigabitethernet ports and 4 optical ports each.
They were not setup for IP telephony.
