Dear all,
We have two 7206 cisco Routers those are connected to IGX ( Cisco WAN Switch). which are different way we can avoid network down time.
1) It there any device which splites physical link terminatation equally on both routers.
So when our primary router fails due to power failure , our network should be up 100%.
Thanks

Hi
I would suggest to go for either HSRP or GLBP both offers reduandcy on ur H/W side and again GLBP has the edge over HSRP in providing load balancing too on ur links w/o any extra configs..
hope u can search on both the headings and get the docs about them in cisco site ..

Dear prem,
HSRP work on ethernet. I dont want that solution. If my primary router fails due to power failure then how HSRP will work in that case. So i want a device which split my physical into different routes individually.
Thanks.
