Hi~
I am writing to learn more about Cisco's licensing policy.
I understand that when purchasing Cisco equipment, it is mandatory to also purchase a DNA license (for 3, 5, or 7 years).
1. If I purchase DNA-Essentials, can I only use Network Essentials?
2. Can I use Network-Advantage only if I purchase DNA-Advantage?

Nothing happends, if you have License you are entitled to use and the device work as expected.
if not you get Trail License for 90days then you have compliance issue. (but when you change One tier to other, device need to reboot to get effected - example if you running essential want to network advantage, you need to reboot the device to take effective or new License)
Cat 9K are smart License by default.

Let's assume that after changing to network-advantage, we reboot.
Then I understand that it will be used as RTU and there may be compliance issues.
Is this correct?
