No.

Hello,

I think it is unclear what you are asking. What are you trying to configure, a subinterface ? A serial interface functioning as the DCE ?

A subinterface would typically be configured like this:

interface FastEthernet0/0.15

encapsulation dot1q 15

ip address 192.168.15.1 255.255.255.0

The DCE needs clocking, so that would be:

interface Serial0/1/1

clock rate 64000

Hi,

I am not very sure what you mean exactly.

For a serial connection you need a DCE and a DTE side.

In Ethernet, there is no such thing, you don't need to set clocking on any side.

Does this answer your question?
Or was the question how to confige a FastEthernet Subinterface in general?

Best regards!

It was question about configure a interface
