I have two Sql 2008 servers having two lancords on each server now i given 10.10.10.5 in on lan cord and 20.20.20.6 in second lancord now we are looking for Lan cord failover between two vlans.
how can i achive this.

Make a hsrp or glbp on core switches for those vlans.

Could you also attach a n/w diagram with detailed description and details on what you want to achieve with this setup. so that solution could be suggested.

Hi,
It would be better you keep all those LAN cards in same network and configure SQL cluster for load balancing and failover, Bcoz GLBP or HSRP would not help you with application or OS level failure, It will only sense the physical connectivity.
