Hi,
Applying a policy-map to a BVI Int fails:
policy-map 10M
class class-default
shape average 9800000 40000 0
Router(config)#interface bvI 1
Router(config-if)#service-policy output 10M
GTS : Not supported on this interface
Is there any work-around? i.e. Can I apply it to the physical Int?
Thanks in advance.

Hello, yes you should be able to shape on the physical interface instead of the BVI interface of the router. Unless there's a limitation of the router itself to perform shaping, but in most cases it works.
Hope this helps

Hi There,
QoS on BVI is not supported and there is a bug for the same: CSCtf13349 & CSCea74540. Do it on physical interface.
