Hi All,

I have two C1941.The first C1941 does not support SNTP but the second C1941 supports SNTP.

The only difference which I can spot is their license. The first C1941 does not have security license but the second C1941 has.

Does anyone has any clue?

What is the URL that has info on what IOS commands are supported on IPbase license, sec license..etc

Thanks

First C1941

In case you haven't noticed, your 2nd unit is running newer software.

Sorry I have forgotten to mention that even with the same IOS, I am able to configure sntp. Only that particular chassis without Sec license can't. Any idea where can I check on the supported IOS commands for different license?

Thanks

You can check the feature navigator, but it requires a paid support contract, and sometime is not 100% accurate.

Why not use NTP instead?

I am quite sure its because of the security license because I have another router C3925, which does not have the security license and it does not have SNTP as well hehe

Yupe I will use NTP instead.

Thanks
