Switch 3850 VLANS (layer 2) Monitor By snmp

Hi Dears Friend I have switch Cisco 3850 work on layer 2  Create VLANS ( Trunk or Access ) Port

How Get graph From VLAN X Traffic Tx Or RX On Vlan X

 

swtich Works on layer 2 And only Cross VLANS By mac ( Not subinterface ) pors

How Can do this ??

Please Help me

Hi

  I got your point but I dont think that make sense trying to mesure this traffic.  I think make sense measuring traffic when we are talking about  IN or OUT. When you are dealing with  Layer 2 Vlan, this is not IN or OUT, this is just a domain where traffic spread around. Do you get me?

 That´s why Interface vlan has RX and TX cause Interface vlan means In and/or out from the device.  What make sense to me is measure the traffic In or Out in a specific interface inside this Layer 2 vlan.

Hope you got the point.

Only Layer 2, the its difficult to connect using SNMP - it required IP address ( alreast for Management network to manage devices).

 

or you can only Monitor the port uplink switch where this port connected.

How to Ask The Cisco Community for Help

I have VLAN management And Can connect by ssh to my switch

For example vlan 100 is management ande set ip address on this

VLAN 200 only layer 2 vlan that Across this switch

Now I get Graph vlan 200 by snmp

I try by prtg and cacti And zabbix

 

Only show me CPU and physical port

I want Get graph Specifiy VLAN number For example vlan 200

 

all ports is trunk (i donot have any physical port that Access to vlan 200)

Now how Get Traffic vlan 200 by snmp ?

 

If you have VLAN 200 Manangment you can use that and get the information what you looking.

 

if the VLAN 200 interface adding to get information, you will have all the information.
