I have a Catalyst 3750 Metro running 12.2(25)EY4.
Every time I add or remove an ipv4 address from a tunnel interface I have the following log:
Jan 4 10:42:19.088: %PLATFORM_HCEF-3-ADJ: Insane handle in add LT7
-Traceback= 25222C A81C70 A7B28C B08958 B28940 B2A2E0 B2A684 B9EFA4 B9F004 B9F684 B9F814 B9F99C B8E3BC BA1BD8 3DFA94 39BA3C
I cannot find any references to the message at all. Has anyone else already seen this error?
Thanks a lot

Hi,
Have you configured.. ip cef accounting per-prefix non-recursive..
In order to resolve this issue, disable Cisco Express Forwarding (CEF) network accounting, and issue the no ip cef accounting per-prefix non-recursive command in global configuration mode or interface configuration mode.
HTH
Plz rate the post acc..

Hi,
I think that ip cef accounting per-prefix non-recursive is disabled by default.
Anyway after issuing the 'no ip cef accounting per-prefix non-recursive' command traceback still appears.

Hi
says :
This section has the Cisco Express Forwarding (CEF) message.
Error Message PLATFORM_HCEF-3-ADJ: [chars]
Note This message applies only to the Catalyst 3750 and 3560 switches.
Explanation This message appears when an unsupported feature is configured on a switch running Cisco IOS Release 12.2(25)SE. [chars] is the error message.
Recommended Action Determine if a generic routing encapsulation (GRE) tunnel or the ip cef accounting global configuration command are configured. Only Distance Vector Multicast Routing Protocol (DVMRP) tunnels are supported. If the GRE tunnel is configured, remove the tunnel, or upgrade the switch software to a Cisco IOS release when the GRE feature is needed. If the ip cef accounting command is configured, remove it by using the no ip cef accounting global configuration command.
I guess you have worked aroung your problem in 5 years !
