i am stuck in a problem in whch i was given the cir i.r 80Kbps now i want to calculate the PIR can anybody help me for the solution.

Hi,
I think you mean (Bc & Be) calculations, as CIR & PIR should be provided values, right?

yeah i am looking for the same but rt now i will be having CIR not the PIR how to calculate the PIR

PIR is nothing but the allowance of burstable bandwidth over the CIR
hence PIR = CIR + excess burst
