I am looking for an option to do the following.
@home (dyanmic IP)
create tunnel to datacenter router
require authentication for security reasons
dynamically route a /29 or /28 to local network
Accept tunnel from remote location
require authentication for security reasons
route above /29 or /28 over tunnel
Equipment at both locations
Cisco 6509 with SUP2 with MSFC2 full mem
Cisco 6509 with SUP2 with MSFC2 full mem
I would like the cleanest most stable option to allow this to work and still be secure with authentication. I know on the home side, I can just specify the remote ip and add a password. Not sure what can be done on the DC side to allow this to work properly.
Any help would be appreciated.

You can configure either a classic IPSEC VPN for that, or Easy VPN.
In either case, you will need cisco routers, not switches.
If you don't know what I'm talking about, hire a professional or certified cisco partner for the configuration.

and what about the modules, which modules have you installed ??

I was aware of those options, was just wondering if there were any "better" options.
Modules in the 2 locations are basic, nothing fancy..
