Unusuall Bandwidth Increasing Issue

Hello

please in my network (Tier 3 ISP ( WiMax Technology )  ) i faced sudden increase in my bandwidth traffic for several times , increased about 600 Mbps . please do u have any expectant of the root cause this issue ?

Hi Rawa,

plese provide the output of show interface <> to see what's going on and also mention the link capacity. Are you seeing this increase in traffic all the time or at certain times of the day?

this increase was occured in several time of the day, its not all time , just see the attached image to give more info , but the downtime is done by me  i shutdowned the port and no shutdown again.

Hi Rawa,

There can be several reason but i'd start with checking the traffic flow happening at those times when the issue happens. please check whether there is some kind of backup function happening at that time wherein the server on your local site backs up data to some other server. You can also run NETFLOW to check what type of traffic takes the most of the bandwidth at the time of the issue.
