Can any one advice please difference in speed capabilities for V.35 as compared to X.21 cables?

V.35 is unbalanced, so in theory less noise protection and lower speed. In practice there is no much difference and both are obsolete technologies.

Thanks for your reply and advice on this. Ideally both can only support a max of 4Mbps link speeds; will i be correct in saying that?

Eve 8Mbps is doable. But in today networking, it's pretty much useless.
