VPLS Question

Hi Everyone,

If you have 2 POPs, both with ME3600X's(with ADVANCED METRO IP ACCESS) - Can you create a VFI/VPLS VPN (eg. CUSTA) on both ME3600's if the "interpop" link goes via 7200's(That dont support VPLS, but would have MPLS enabled on the Interpop link)? Or must the Interpop "P" routers support VPLS?

P routers simply swap labels and need not be aware of vpls or other services.
