WAAS FTP not working

We had a bad WAAS module at one of our locations. I built a quick test lab at our corporate office with similar hardware (2821,3560). I've enabled ftp via 'inetd enable ftp' on the WAAS module on the test router (2821).

The host computer I'm connected to on the 3560 can ping the device, and routing is correct between the 2821, 3560, WAAS module and the computer. I need to update the OS to 4.4.5d to match the rest of our network for the time being until we upgrade. However I'm still not able to connect via FTP. I can even SSH into the WAAS module fine from that computer.

any areas I should look at? The config is the same config from our current WAAS module and I'm able to connect to that one via FTP.

Solution. I wr er the WAAS module and then reconfigured, including the FTP command. Then I uploaded the WAAS firmware and installed the new firmware collowing Cisco's best practices. Neither Cisco TAC or the forums could really help, so if anyone else is in this case, let me know, I can help.

Thanks
