what is the acercon means in the "transport input" command

I have this configuration on 7600 router:

line vty 0 4

transport input lat pad mop telnet rlogin udptn nasi ssh acercon

!

end

am trying to find out what is the acercon means.

can anyone please help me with that.

Hi Imedina,

This config is on line vty 0 4 which means that anybody who will try to access these lines only protocols mentioned below will be allowed.

Like if you remove telnet from line vty 0 4 ...no body will be able to telnet into the device (through these lines) but still be able to rlogin and pad and ssh.

Same way it applies to other protocols. When you access the device there are different applicatiosn and protocols which let you access like ssh, telnet and it depens which all way you want to access your devices.
