Thank you for the prompt response!
The devices you suggest are showing gigE WAN ports. I do not see how these would meet my needs unless there is a fiber module available for 2.5GigE.
Plus it looks like I would have to program IOS at the command line. I have not done that since I was a networking PM for TRW about 1989. Friends don't let friends program IOS at the command line!
And me thinks I would have to license IOS and pay the annual license fees! Not going to happen!
Yes my home and business internet setup is WAY BEYOND the typical COMCAST NONSENSE, however I am NOT willing to behave like a commercial CISCO account (and pay the fees) for the basic routing needs I have.
With respect, I would like a replacement for the RV260P with a GUI to configure it.
If it is not made in China, I would be ecstatic!
If Cisco would like a tester for a next gen 260P, I volunteer!
