Why BGP can not accessible internationally?

Hello Everyone

I have recently setup a router and found that i can access any website in my country also my IP block is pingable from my country

but i can not access any site which is outside of my country and i can not ping also. i am very new in routing can you someone tell me where is the problem.

Hello, it is really odd, there will be probably problem with your transit provider.

You can use this tool to check how are your prefixes advertised in BGP internet table:

http://www.ris.ripe.net/cgi-bin/lg/index.cgi

It is called Looking glass and lot of ISPs or Internet Exchange POPs are providing this service, just google it and maybe you will find one in your country.

You have to check with your ISP itself, it seems your Prefix is not advertised to other countries...

hi,

checking from a public router, it doesn't reach your IP.

ask your upstream peer, Mega Host Zone India, to advertise your routes out to the internet.

Hi,

When I check from the Router in Australia, IP is not reachable. But its reachable from Indian ISP. You can ask your Service provider Reliance Communications to check at their end.
