I am trying to come up with a way to have a single VPN0 interface template where I can do either auto or set a speed/duplex (some of our Internet circuits are required to be hard coded). I have tried a couple things unsuccessfully - the latest being I set autonegotiate to a variable in the interface feature template and used a CLI template with a variable to set the speed and duplex. This is not working because as soon as it sets the interface to 'negotiate auto', the speed auto and duplex auto commands are not accepted.
Does anyone have a way to do this so that I don't need to have double the device templates?

Hi kmelchior,
Did you try with a Feature Template and "device specific" variables?
If you did it, what model of routers are you trying to configure?

I did try a variable and it then has a drop down menu but auto is not an option in the drop down - just 10, 100, etc. They are 8200, 8300 and 1100X routers.

we tried this variable, but it did not work for me vManage 20.9.X , so i ended with 3 template, Auto, speed 1000, speed 100. and attached based on the provider and attached to the devices.
