Dear Community,

So, according to the Cisco ISE Release 2.7 Administrator Guide, it should be possible to use a remote lock/wipe on MDM-devices that connect through ISE on the network( see the screenshot in the attachment). The problem is that the admin guide (in my opinion) is not 100 % transparent about the fact of the support of this feature in combination with MS Intune. There is stated that Cisco ISE widely supports MCRSFT Intune, but there is, for example, no information about how this wipe or lock is performed (API?) and if this is supported on MDM-devices, originating from the Microsoft Intune environment.

Therefore, the question is:

Could the remote wipe/lock-feature be used on the MDM-devices, as configured in Microsoft Intune?

Our customer will use this to wipe or lock endpoints from the network, as they are identified(by the policies) as stolen or lost. This is one of the primary demands they have for implementing ISE.

So, Maybe the question is simple, but the answer en confirmation of this functionality is not in de the Cisco ISE Release 2.7 Administrator Guide or any other sources we’ve used. Hopefully you can help us out.

Thanks in advance.

Kinds Regards,
