6513 usage of slots 1-5

I am inquiring about a possible issue with performance using the tops slots in a 6513. Currently, slots 1-5 are not being used and we are looking to add more line cards. Is there any reason why performance would not be the same with these slots than for instance 9-12 which we have line cards in? I have heard it has to do with the backplane?

Yes. Thanks for responding! We currently have an X6724-SFP in slot 6. I am assuming if we want to put more line cards in slots 1-5, it would not perform any different than the blade in slot 6? I saw where only slots 9-13 have dual fabric connectivity.
