ACE module and NEXUS 7000

I already asked this question in the ACE forum but I got no real confirmation, so I will try here in the Nexus section:

Is it possible to connect an ACE Module to 2 Nexus 7000 switches with vPC?

This would allow to have 2 active links and make a more redundant design avoiding to use an orphan port to connect to the ACE module/6500.

If a normal 6500 can connect to a Nexus via vPC, why shouldn t this work with an ACE inside?

I heard somewhere that maybe a corner case of lost frames could happen if the ACE is dual-attached via vPC...

What do you think?

I'm not aware of any reason why it wouldn't work - certainly the Nexus design guide discusses having the 'service' 6500s dual connected to multiple Nexi (Nexuses?) and it would seem to make sense to use vPC. It should be transparent to the 65k, and should therefore be transparent to the modules within it as it would be for hosts connected to it..
