Can't Ping anything on my NEXUS 1000v

Ok so here is the deal

I have three VLAN sets 200 = 210, 400 - 410 and 420 - 430.

From my nexus 1000v I can ping everything in the vlan 200 - 210 but nothing in the other vlans.

Also from the nexus 1000v I can ping anything off the switch such as my vfiler ip's.

Has anyone ran into this?

Brent,

This is more likely a configuration issue than anything else.   Check/confirm the following:

1. Have the vlans been created on the 1000v and all upstream switches? "show vlan"

2. Are you allowing the VLAN on the trunk uplinks on each switch? "show int trunk"

Trace this through and you'll probably find it missing somewhere.  If not, let us know and we'll go deeper.  Also explain your topology including any device between the ping source and target.

Regards,

Robert
