No. Not yet

I need to be able to discover it first.

I go to Inventory then Discovery

Then I can add the license.

Weird, how are you discovering the switch?

Make sure it can be seen via CDP

After DCNM-LAN discovers a Cisco NX-OS device using CDP, it connects to the device and retrieves information, such as the running configuration of the device. The information collected a

the CDP part works fine

It discovers it thru CDP and then I click add

then the SNMP does to discovering.

I tried on 2 switches and same result

Are these devices being discovered via another seed device?

Hello:

Both seed and switch mode.

I got it working finally.

I changed the role from Network-admin to vdc admin.

I also configure "no logging level all"

Thanks

I was also going to say that the password on the devices has to be the same as the seed device.

Super happy you finally got it working.

Why the no logging level all. That seems strange.

Can you forward the link to where you found those settings.

Thank you.

Basically, I used the same DCNM to discover a N7K and it worked first shot.

So I compared the config between the N7K and the N9K and I saw the differences in the logging level and the role VDC-ADMIN.

I changed those two parameters and voila.

Thanks
