Does UCS C220 M3 SFF supports SR-IOV

Hi everyone,

I installed ESXi 5.1 in a UCS C220 M3 SFF.

I want to get a Intel X540 Dual Port 10GBase-T adapter and enable SR-IOV, but first I want to know if the UCS C 220 M3 supports SR-IOV.

I ask this because when I enter the UCS C220 M3 BIOS I can't see any option to enable SR-IOV,

but maybe this option does not exists until I install a PCIe Device??

Is this standalone rack server or managed by UCSM ?

Can you please the CIMC & BIOS version ?

This is a standalone rack server.

CIMC version: 1.6

Bios version: C220M3.1.4.6a.0.071620120647

Aptio Setup Utility version is: 2.14.1219

Hello Rui,

SR-IOV is enabled by default in C220, C240, C22 and C24 server models.

Please proceed with your deployment and let us know if you have any issues.
