L2TPv3 on C3750 hardware

Can someone tell me if it is possible to implement L2TPv3 on the standard C3750 or if this is only possible on the Metro hardware. We have 2 data centres for redundancy and have implemented a fully routed core/distribution, however we do not wish to implement VLANs accross the core as it's a very complex mesh (don't want STP issues). The only location we require contiguous VLANs is in the two data centres so that we can have our VMWare servers fail over using the VM motion toolkit (requires same subnet so clients dont notice IP change). This requires a configuous VLAN between both sites.

Subnet.x - Access.3750 - Dist.3750 - Core.3750 - Core.3750 - Dist.3750 - Access.3750 - Subnet.x

Can't use GRE as this is a routed interface. Can't use L2TPv2 as this requires a point to point core or a switched core (again vlans in core). Don't really want to purchase 3750 metros as the existing ones are only 4 months old.

Your advise would be much appreciated.

Not sure about L2TPv3 but you could use QinQ tunneling.

See this link on how to set it up.
