License Error on Nexus 1000v Switch

Hi Team,

We are getting error logs like " %LICMGR-2-LOG_LIC_USAGE: Feature NEXUS1000V_LAN_SERVICES_PKG is using 6 licenses, only 4 licenses are installed. Please make sure enough licenses are installed for the VEMs"

Please check and let me know why we are getting?....

When is check " sh module vem license-info" i found one additional vem on this switch but this vem is not active as per below logs.

Can i remove this vem? am i correct?....

Please advice me ASAP.

Hello Sen,

If you are sure the module is not in use (sh mod) then you can 'no vem X'.  If this command fails, then check to see if any port-channels exist for that module - delete those first.
