Nexus 7004 , vtp3 primary server, can it do mvrp at the same time ?

Hello,

we would need mvrp for compatability reasons, right now the system is vtp3 primary master. can i enable mvrp and hope mvrp distributes vlans (on mvrp enabled portchannels) made on the nexus like he does it with vtp ?

yes they can co-exist, but look at the guidelines : (Guidelines and Limitations for Configuring MVRP)

Thanks, i already found that, could you help me clarify this:

1: i create vlans then, on the nexus 7004 primary server vtp role, and nexus will push them to mvrp enabled interfaces ? (i can keep the primary server role?)

2: what would "Auto detection of MAC addresses is not supported. " mean, i dont think this means what i read out of it , maybe someone can tell ?
