NX-OS to ACI Image

I have N9K-C93180YC-EX with NXOS-703I7.1 installed. How can I change the image with ACI-N9KDK9-12.2A without APIC? Do I need license for this?

Thanks,

Arnold

If you have access to the "ACI-N9KDK9-12.2A" image you want to boot from, the process for converting to ACI mode is pretty well outlined in this document:

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/datacenter/nexus9000/sw/7-x/upgrade/guide/b_Cisco_Nexus_9000_Series_NX-OS_Software_Upgrade_and_Downgrade_Guide_Release_7x/Converting_from_Cisco_NX_OS_to_ACI_Boot_Mode.html

When the new Leaf comes up, it will provide a terminal message similar to the attached image.

From here, you will need an APIC to configure/manage the device.

Hope this helps!

Cheers,
