Performance issues across VMware hosts (UCS blades) running vSphere ESXi v6

Implemented using a Cisco UCS validated architecture...

2 VMs both on the same vSphere blade = fast (few seconds data upload).

The same 2 VMs each on different vSphere blades = slow (few minutes data upload).

Same problem regardless of which vSphere blade the VMs are on.

Any suggestions?

I assume that both VM's are on the same IP subnet ?

what is the connectivity Northbound of the UCS fabric interconnect ? are there 2 switches ? and what is the link speed between the 2 ?

In addition to Walter's questions... do we even know if the traffic is staying withing the same fabric interconnect or going to the upstream network?
