Simple way to rewrite vlan id?

I need a simple way to rewrite the default vlan 1 - is there a simpler - or more elegant - way in the cisco world than just set 2 access-ports up and set the wanted default vlan on the destination port?

We don't have a command to change the default vlan...its always 1 in our devices
