snmp-server mib community-map XXXX context v.e

Hi guys,

Does anyone know what the v·e part is on the following command on Nexus please and how best to remove it? is it default?

snmp-server mib community-map XXXX context v·e     (note that the . is actually not a full stop but rather an interpunct)

I recall it's specifying a vrf but why such a crazy character :)

Can  you try removing the snmp-server community string, and re-adding it?  This may remove this community-map with the v·e

I tried removing the actual command line "snmp-server mib community-map XXXX context v·e" but it was interpreted as "snmp-server mib community-map XXXX context veeeeee" strangely and was still present.

It seems I had to remove the following instead:

no snmp-server community XXXX group network-operator which by default additionally removed the line:

snmp-server community XXXX use-acl XX

this then removed "snmp-server mib community-map XXXX context v·e" and then I re-applied 

"snmp-server community XXXX group network-operator"         &

"snmp-server community XXXX use-acl XX"   which has fixed the issue :)

Strange one, and wonder what the v·e purpose is.
