I have a stupid question but better safe that sorry. We have some standalone C240 M4S servers with cat 5e cables pugged in the CIMC interface. We have to disconnect them so we can re-run those cables for better cable management. I am pretty sure it is OK to do that while the server is in production but just want to confirm with other admins. It's just the CIMC interface, we are not going to disconnect the TwinAx cable used for network access. Should be OK to do right?

Hello,
No problem. CIMC is a out-of-band.
You could reboot a CIMC without any outage.
