Update-Vibs in Nexus 1000v

Hello,

In the nexus 1000v upgrade guide, there is a command to run "switch# vmware vem upgrade update-vibs bootflash:vem-release_final.tar.gz" but unfortunately, I was unable to run the command. In the guide, it indicated that we be in EXEC mode. I'm not a cisco guy so i do not know a lot of commands, but if i'm not mistaken, typing "end" puts me on EXEC mode? Anyway, how do i execute the "vmware vem upgrade update-vibs" command?

Hi Joel,

Yes that is correct. The CLI was introduced for 1(3.x) to 1(4) upgrade. What version of the VSM are you running?
