very helpfull...
But I have a question.
What If I don't want to use SFP for stacking, but a simple interface. I don't want to use SFP for this reason, can't find a reason to use Fiber for Stacking.
Could I use 2 interfaces as portchannels for stacking?
Cisco sais yes....but its too vague.
"Using standard 10G fiber or copper connections, the Cisco 550X Series supports both local and horizontal stacking deployments and the flexibility of ring or chain topology. The switches also have the capability to use link aggregation port as the stacking port, providing even higher stacking bandwidth for demanding applications."
Thank you

Thank you.
I can not figure out how to create a ring topology over the cli interface.
Could somebody share their "show running-config" output with a ring topology stack on sge550 series?
