Hi Members,
I have set an Sg300-28 Cisco in Router mode with the following config but only the interfaces on vlan 1 can reach internet.
Vlan 2 pinging to internet gateway 192.168.100.1 fails. I have tried up route but nothing works.
Any pointers will be appreciated.

The confiig worked. Added a static route on Huawei to 7.0 with gateway as .77 and then plugged in a device to gi2. I was formerly usng ping...source with the interface not having anything plugged in reason why it was failing. was configuring the switch from gi1.

If the Device already setup in router mode.
you need route required as below :
ip route 0.0.0.0 0 0.0.0.0 192.168.100.1
Still have issue post complete config alonng with show ip route output.

Ok you have route back entry for network 192.168.7.0/24 from 192.168.100.1
EDIT :
Please also confirm the device Configuired on IP 192.168.7.X able to ping 192.168.7.1 ?

I have no idea about that product, Google may help you.
just did one quick search here is document to add static route not sure if that work for your model.

Thanks for the pointer. I have googled about the cisco Sg-300 series and read a lot about it but it ain't a straight forward config as the catalyst.
I have created the static route back to 7.0/24 with different gateways (7.1,100.1,100.77) but nothing works.
I hope the gurus or Cisco employees in this forum can help crack this once and for all.
