Hey everyone, a quick question.
I have a large customer that is concerned with changing the hostnames of their devices. They say they are getting new devices into their portal, and they're worried that since changing their hostnames it would regard those devices as entirely new devices being added to the portal whereas the old hostname would remain with the same information of that device.
Would that be unlikely? From what I understand, a new discovery of those items and a new collection / upload would rectify the existing information of that device and show that it is actually renamed and not add a new device to the portal. Would this be correct?
