Collector's report with wrong information

Hello team!

Over the last few months (12 months) we've noticed that the collector in the reports is providing incorrect information.
In the Product Alerts Report, the Collector has been showing equipment with a different software version from the Inventory. In other words, it is unreliable.
Our customers have been asking us a lot about this, whether the collector is reliable or not, and how Cisco will resolve this.
We've had this problem since December/23 and there's been no solution.

Another example that occurred months ago is that the Cisco collector provided information that equipment that was on IOS-XE version 17.9.5 had high vulnerabilities, and at the time a query was made on Cisco Software Check, the version had no vulnerabilities.

It's very strange and difficult to trust the information, as the SNTC team takes a long time to respond and correct it.

We have the most up-to-date version of Collector on our client. The last one released.

Is this happening to anyone else?

Hello Stefano,

Thanks for contacting Cisco.

I was reviewing this and I noticed that there is already a TAC case handling this, in that case there is an internal team working on this issue at this moment.

Please refer to that case for further details.

Kind Regards,

Enrique Ramirez

Hello @enrirami

Today I checked with my technical team on the status of the TAC we opened for Cisco to verify. However, the TAC was closed without our authorization and there was no solution.
This leaves us sad and without Cisco's support for a solution!

Field notices and alerts can give false positives if not all data criteria is provided. many of this is related to SNTC not using any CLI  command , please send me the case number in private message

Hello André, good afternoon!

I've forwarded to you in private the call opened in the TAC on this subject.
Thank you for your help!
