CSPC || Patch 2.11.0.2 still affected by CSCwm10281

Hello team,

During this week I was testing patch 2 of CSPC 2.11 and I noticed that the CSCwm10281 bug has not yet been fixed, I tried to update over a patch 1 that failed and a direct update to patch 2, however I was unsuccessful in performing the installation in either way, is there any forecast for when it will be fixed?

Hi @jelopezm

All right, I understand, apart from that workaround with few details available on the bug page, there isn't another one a bit more detailed on how to force the update right?

Dear Cisco Support Team,

@jelopezm

I'm following up on the conversation with my co-worker Vinicius regarding the CSPC upgrade issues related to bug CSCwm10281. Given the current situation, I have some additional questions:

  1. Do you have any information about the stability and effectiveness of patch 2.11.0.3 in relation to this specific bug? Are there any known issues with this latest patch?
  2. Would you recommend attempting a clean installation of the 2.11 base version and then upgrading to version 2.11.0.3? Is this approach more likely to succeed?
  3. Are there any alternative procedures or more detailed workarounds to circumvent the upgrade problem, especially for version 2.11.0.3?
  4. Do you have any specific guidance for customers who are facing difficulties with updates due to this bug? Are there any best practices or precautions we should be aware of?

We appreciate any insights you can provide to help us navigate this issue and determine the best path forward for our CSPC upgrade.

Thank you for your assistance.

Best regards,
