don't inventory AP's

We're setting up the SNTC collector, and we don't do smartNET on AP's.. is there a way to keep the collector from discovering them when we add the WLC's to the inventory?

Hello,

The collector does not discover the APs from the WLC during initial discovery, this happens during the inventory or "collection" process.

If you want to exclude your APs from collection, begin by cloning the default SNTC collection profile at Settings > Manage Data Collection Profiles. Right click the cloned profile and select "Modify Collection Profile". On the select datasets tab, scroll down to AIRESPACE-WIRELESS-MIB_bsnAP and uncheck it. This should exclude the APs from inventory when the cloned collection profile runs.

It should be noted that if you upgrade the CSPC in the future, you will not benefit from any changes in the default SNTC profile.

I did this, and it still collected all the AP's in my environment?
