We have done a discover using the ip range method. The result is that we see multiple entries (up to 55 entries, see attached) for a host, in the managed devices. The devices in questions are Nexus 7K with multiple SVIs; and each SVI being as an chassis entry. What's a best practice in order to have only one entry, in managed devices, for Nexus 7K devices having multiple SVIs/IPs?

Hello danielbarri,
Enabling Serial Number duplication checks can help to remove these duplicate virtual nodes. In some cases, CSPC is not able to identify that these virtual devices are all the same physical chassis.
Please go to Settings -> Discovery Settings -> Enable SN Duplicate Check. You will first need to unmanage the N7K devices before starting a new discovery.
Thank you,
Jarrett

Hello danielbarri,
After the option for "Enable SN Duplicate Check"is enabled and new discoveries are performed, it will also start to populate serial numbers for this column if found during discoveries. If we are still unable to collect a serial number from the duplicate nodes, we would need to add them to the CSPCs Do Not Manage" list. This option is available within the Credential Management group on the CSPC.
Thank you,
Jarrett
