GUI unavailable after upgrade from 2.9 to 2.9.1

Hi,

We have tried to install a new collector to replace the old one as part of a datacenter move.
We installed 2.9 and had it working. After a GUI upgrade did not work, we tried a manual cli upgrade to 2.9.1.  The GUI is not available now, we still have access to the cli.

 

Troubleshooting:
- restart appliance
- service adminshell restart
- "systemctl restart cspc.service" from root fails with error: "Failed to start SYSV: CSPC Start/Stop Script"

admin# show ver
    Build-name : Collection Platform Software 2.9.1
    Version : sp-30.2.1-0-0-lnx64

admin# show apply
    Apply information is not available.

admin# show websocket
    Web socket is currently disabled.

 

 

Any help would be appreciated, i guess we can reinstall but we will need to upgrade it at some point anyway.

Hi Rhys,

The mentioned issue has been resolved from our end on today's Webex session. Where CSPC GUI was not accessible.

Please let us know if there will be any further assistance required on any other issues.

 

Summary of resolution:

#checked the services required to get GUI up. tomcat was not running I have restated the tomcat and service cspc.

#checked the 8001 port was opened. and he got the CSPC GUI access.
